I played Settlers Ghost last week, nice new course, fairly open but with hills and a few blind tee shots. Greens were pretty slow. All round good, $50 with a cart!
Horseshoe is just up the road, I like their courses better.
Valley is short but tight, greens are large and fast, staying below the hole is a must. (bring lots of balls if you spray the ball). Very pretty and quite private, you don't need length, just accuracy. Around $70 with a cart. I play it every chance I can, and have a 15% discount card. Will be up there again end of July, first week in August.
Highlands is new style big monster. Long and tough, much more exposed to the wind. For fairly new greens they are good and usually cut short and fast. About $80 with a cart. I usually only play it once a year to get humbled.Last edited by Mechman47; Fri, Jul 8th, 2011 at 06:15 PM.
