[QUOTE=Dulcea;5176027]TGIF Everyone! So glad today wasn't snowy, had to return the hammie ball to petsmart. Apparently the manufacturer of the hammie balls has decided that the seams are fine with just glue and not screws now -.- Tried searching a few of the nearby pet stores to no avail. Bah!
Congrats on three of a kind ecat!
I think it's great you can return your pet toys if you pet doesn't use them at petsmart and pet value, I'll be going back with a couple I got there for my puds. I've still got a couple I haven't given them yet. and what's with some of these pet stores (not those) that are still selling dogs and cats not from shelters?? There is a new law that they can only sell pets from a shelter but I seen one at Scarborough Town Centre with one from a shelter and a bunch of domestic kittens for $299 and also at one called Safari at Vaughn Mills. I hate that - a lot of people are not stupid enough to pay a few hundred dollars for a domestic kitty when you can get them at a shelter for less or even free in the newspaper etc. That poor thing waits and waits while it gets bigger. I'm not sure if they can do it because they are in Vaughn or Scarborough. I now a girl who works at the H.S. who took some pics and was going to look into it.
p.s. thanks for the congrats

Thanks for the quick brunch Loocie - then I'm heading into the sauna - been running around in the malls for 2 days so it's time to relax and catch up on the newspapers while I'm in there! Didn't really buy much for all the walking we did - I like really, really good deals not just good ones! Did get my daughter her Mac Laptop! She is happy with that of course. She thought she may not be getting it because she had a bunch of things to open before that - I had to just put it on a card that she would be getting it shortly. The guy at the store said to wait until boxing day to get a few dollars off. I ended up getting $157 off it which is pretty good as it never goes on sale. They price matched Staples deal.
Sorry to hear about your son's friend Karl - that's really terrible - let us know how he does...... Being up on a roof can be very dangerous - I could never get up there (too scared of heights!)
Well, it should be heated up by now - time to get in that sauna. Amy comes in as well - she lies on her back on the floor - really enjoys the heat!

CHATHAM-KENT, Ont. -- There is no doubt the cops have a lot to deal with. There's crimes, road safety, keeping the peace...and calls about suspicious squirrels.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service has released its top 12 silly calls of 2012, seen above.
Check out a few more memorable calls and excuses they encountered this past year:
Best Speeding Excuses of 2012
Officers are used to hearing creative excuses from drivers stopped for speeding. This year was no exception.
1. A 25-year-old woman was stopped for speeding and gave the excuse that she must have stepped on the accelerator as she adjusted her seating position to pass gas.
2. One woman tried to cover all the bases when she offered up the following 3 explanations all within 30 seconds…
a) Her ovary burst and she was on her way to hospital.
b) She was diabetic and needed insulin.
c) She had diarrhea and needed a washroom.
While these are all serious medical conditions, the woman finally admitted that she was not affected by any of the explanations given and apologized to the officer for speeding and lying.
Cutest Call of 2012
A three-year-old boy called 911 while watching the Disney Pixar blockbuster movie 'Cars.' The boy was concerned for the safety of Lightning McQueen when Chick Hicks was chasing him.

Sleep tight:
New Wine Before Bed
A great new wine for all you wine lovers
One glass at night could mean a peaceful, uninterrupted night’s sleep.
NEW Wine for Seniors - I kid you not ...
California vintners in the Napa Valley area, which primarily produces
Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Grigio wines, have developed a new
hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic. It is expected to reduce the
number of trips older people have to make to the bathroom during the night.
The new wine will be marketed as
PINO MORE

Wow, love those eyes !! Beautiful.
Boring, but quiet day for me. Laundry, dishes, catching up on the newspapers, that sort of thing.
A friend was to drop by, but wasn't able to.
Hate sitting around all day waiting, only to find out they're not coming.
Would have gone out had I known earlier. Really spoils the day. Oh well, such is life around the holidays.
