As you know I have been networking to secure another job and this am when I logged on to my computer,
I had email from a company that wanted to interview me today. They were referred to me by a former
manager at Microsoft that I had worked with on occasion at my former job. I had let him know about
my job loss and he asked for me resume. He told me that from time time to time he has channel partners
where he works now that are looking for good people. Coincidentally, the company he is with, is another
ERP software manufacturer/developer and my former company used to be a channel partner of theirs and is no longer.
I had a lengthy phone interview with one of the executives, and we will connect later next week to discuss the next step.
This evening I received an email from the company that interviewed me the day after I lost my job.
The email welcomed me to their company. :shock: I had no idea. When I spoke with the director he mentioned he was sending off
my resume to the big boss in Germany. Apparently my contract will arrive later this week.
I will read it through and decide where I go from there.
Also heard from my mom's insurance company and they have a potential buyer for her car. I hope so for my mom's sake.
Looks like 2013 is on my side :top:
