Well today was March 1st & it really felt like spring was just around the corner. ;)
In the afternoon sun, I was actually able to sit on the deck with a coffee for 1/2 an hour.
Mind you, it was right next to the house so I was out of the wind, but it sure felt good.
Went to the retirement party of a good friend tonight. Sad to see the last of my friends & colleagues there gone.
With that, all the running around, shovelling, etc. this week, believe it or not, I'm exhausted.
Not even 9:30 & I'm ready for bed. :sleepy2:
I my youth, I never could have imagined that.
Sure not the way I envisioned spending my Friday nights.
They would have been more like this :occasion14: then this :sex: and finally this :drunken_smilie:
Reality sucks.
Well this is going to be me in about 4 minutes. So, good night every1.

My apologies for my lateness...way to busy at w*rk...just got home! Today is, National Pig Day! When many people think of pigs they think of mud and slop, or else bacon and bacon. But there's so much more to love about these rotund creatures, and that's precisely why sisters Ellen Stanley and Mary Lynne Rave started National Pig Day in 1972.
Did you know that the reason pigs roll around in the mud is to cool themselves off since they do not sweat? Or that pigs place fourth on the animal intelligence list? Perhaps pigs aren't just for dinner; they also make for charming dinner guests.

Just got back from my second walk (this time the short one was the one insisting I exercise). They had gone off to their beds, but I can now see them both waiting patiently in the kitchen. I suspect they're waiting for midnight snacks, but haven't realized that daylight savings day is still to come. :P
