Instead of calling it the "John", I'm going to start calling my bathroom the "Jim". That way I can say I go to the Jim almost everyday.
apparently the hospital has found a room for my mum & will be moving her shortly, about time. she's been stuck in emerg since 3am yesterday. can you tell, i'm frustrated & not impressed.

it's with a heavy heart, that i just found out from HO at work, that a long time employee, that i have worked with for 12 years, has passed away from that dreaded, ugly disease that has taken so many good & kind souls, way before their time.
may you RIP & now be free from that disease. Play with your puppies that you loved so much to take to dog shows. you will be missed.

Been busy all week looking at last minute vacations for next week. Found a nice one in Manzanillo Mexico but it got sold out yesterday :mad: so had to start searching again. Looking at a few in Cuba but got mixed reviews - my daughter found the Playa Costa in Holguin Cuba and all the reviews are really good so I decided on that one. Finally went to book and the price had jumped up with Air Canada so I went for Nolitours and she said that one had jumped up by $25 each:mad: I hate that when I finally make a decision - go to book and the price jumps or or even worse it is gone!!!! Especially when the price hasn't risen on the website.....anyways the T.A. on the phone said she could keep the price the same on the Air Canada one if I book then but I wouldn't be able to get their price drop guarantee - that's okay I highly doubt it will drop as when it starts going up again it means the seats are almost gone (I've been through this before - very stressful!!!)
I didn't want to pay a fortune - that's why we are not leaving this weekend!

Anyways, now I can relax and do some other things!!! My daughter and I will be going next Thursday!! Yipee!!!
