I thought packing would be a no brainer, but after the meeting yesterday, there'll be 2 semi formal dinner parties, & 3 of the on site restaurants require 'good clothes'; good pants, skirts or dresses. So it's back to the drawing board.

Lee, I'm so sorry about ur racoon problems. Had them in the attic years ago. Needed a new roof, etc. etc. etc. They're so destructive. Good luck.

Thanks... we just did our roof a couple of years ago and blew in new insulation in the attic last summer... that's what I'm most concerned about.... I'm sure that it is full of sh*t up there and I have no idea how we get that out!!! I asked hubby if that's part of the raccoon evacuator's job... I know that there is so much insulation up there, they won't be able to find the cross joists to walk around on...

The 1st night is a VIP welcome party, & the last night before we leave is a farewell party. Both were specified as 'semi formal'. Should be fun, but that means @ least 2 dresses with all the fixings.

You're right ecat, they are a la carte - so one pair of good pants, & a sun dress or two.

Gee, that's 1/2 a doz. pairs of shoes & sandals, @ the very least. I'll need a suitcase just for those.

sorry, i'm not 1 of those that believes in only wearing a dress once, so i'd be bringing 1 semi formal for both events & a couple of sundress & 1 pair of shoes that works with them all. 3 or 4 bathiung suits are more important.

I agree with H team.... black flip flops go with everything!!! Good luck packing and watch the weight limit!!!

Only 4 days to go, but wouldn't you know it, I'm as sick as a dog this morning.
Felt it coming on yesterday afternoon, damn.
Sore throat, ears, sinuses & head, with a fever of 101.6. I'd like to go back to bed, but I've so much still to do.

I made the mistake of not going before we went to Barbados when I knew I was coming down with a sinus infection and suffered with it the whole week.... I figured I'd feel better in the fresh salt air, but I wasn't... I tried to get the alcohol (rum) to kill off the infection, but that didn't work....

i agree, don't let your cold ruin your vacation. see the doctor, get something to help & at least you'll have 3 days for the medication to help you before you go. hope you feel better soon.

I agree I mentioned the same to 22 this morning, get something strong to knock whatever it is out of you..........see a doctor - no over the counter meds this is serious!!!!

Besides, one event is at the beginning and one is at the end. Far enough apart so one dress should do...
