They have yet to call back is how I am looking at it! They called first and I returned the call twice to voice mail so perhaps something changed between when they left the message and when I called back the first time. We will see but now I am not quite as excited, I think I would have heard...

My very last Monday I'll ever HAVE to work. Thursday is my unofficial last day; then I have accumulated vacation daze with April 30th being the official retirement date (when I come in and hand in all my stuff.)
This is rather surreal at the moment; but I'm very exited to be at this exit door - finally!!!!

When you sum up your working career Mr Jester, how the heck can you condense?
There are many retirement activities that await your midas touch & finesse,
Cause everyone knows that Jesters rarely take the time to compress,
Will he golf or will he whittle?
Will he bake cookies or peanut brittle?
Will he take up bingo?
Will he learn up-to-date lingo?
Will he take up ceramics?
& apply aerodynamics?
Don't feel you're obliged to hang up your bells,
As I've heard Jesters are true blue, right down to their cells,
Retire, enjoy life & spend time with your Kween,
Don't even worry about establishing a daily routine,
I guess that congratulations are in order along with well wishes,
Now we can all get in line to give you sweet retirement kisses.

Now to try & chase a whipping headache away. Thankfully I seldom get a headache, but when I do.....I just have to go and lie down.
A shame we lost Margaret Thatcher & Annette Funicello. They both had nasty illnesses that invaded their lives & took them away.

Don't care how funny he is, I am NOT kissing him.
Takes about a year to 'gear down' Jester from then on you're on cruise control. In case you're thinking about it don't choose aloha as a nemesis ....she's the worst ever! I retired in high school, just never told anyone, knew they'd just be jealous.
