Time to practice acceptance of the sunny days that will soon arrive,
Did you know the right amount of sunshine helps one's spirit to nicely thrive?
Whether on a psychedelic psunday with a radio that's in tune,
Or a midweek afternoon when we're basking in summer's bloom,
Protecting your skin is a given, cause Smart Canucks do not want to bake,
Cause we've probably all had a sunburn & used noxzema to temper the ache,
Cold beverages, picnic tables & zero gravity chairs are put to such good use,
& sunny summery days are perfect for all of us to don our favourite chartreuse,
Keep in mind we are not allowed to complain about how hot it is,
You even must accept the humidity as part of summer & its biz,
Soon the outdoors will come alive & you'll see people out & about,
Take a powder winter! cause we've all had quite enough of your clout!

3 from BC, and 1 from Alberta. Nothing for me either. That's it, I'm going to start buying my tickets in Vancouver from now on! I can't complain tho, I was up at Rama last night for the Three Dog Night concert, and decided to play a little after the show. The Slots-Gods were very kind to me Covered the cost of tickets and gas.

I really enjoyed the Buddy Holly Story the other night. It was well done, my seats were very good (3rd row, centre) although the Randolph Theatre isn't that big (it's a converted church) It told the story of Buddy starting out and the three years following when he became so popular. It was 2 1/2 hrs long (counting 20 minute intermission) The guy looked pretty close to Buddy's look. They had the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens do one song each. All in all there were 26 songs including Peggy Sue, Words of Love, Oh, Boy ,Think it Over, True Love Ways, La Bamba, Rave on etc. etc.
I seen the same or similar show many years ago at a much bigger theatre. The show was much cheaper here and still well done.
