Wow what a busy summer!!! Busy good and I hate to complain but I am going to be in debt, and burnt out after this summer is done with me…lol I desperately need time to relax and do nothing one day and some quality time cleaning would be in order, but there I go whining again and I hate that…so cheers to another fun filled weekend!

Hope everyone is finding time to enjoy the wonderful summer we are having, and my heart goes out to those who have had to face some sad, and or, difficult times this summer.

If time is flexible (you may want to start checking now), you can contact a moving van company that may have a partial load going to the destination area. If there's room in the van, they will take smaller partial loads along at a greatly reduced price.

The extra leg-work may be well worth it. A colleage of mine had a piano sent across the country for under $200 which is great for a piano. Normally would have been over $1,000.

thanx, BeegeMcB. i have the rodent calling around. so far 1 company wanted close to $2500. to transport roughly 800lbs of her stuff. thought that was a little high.

I was going to complain about how hot it is, then I realized that at least: 1. It isn't 115 degrees; 2. I'm not 5,700 miles from home; 3. I'm not dressed in a full BDU uniform and helmet and carrying 70+ lbs.; and 4. there is very little chance that anyone will shoot at me or that I might drive over a bomb in the road today!
