Good morning all. Just got in from Rama. Saw a great concert, uh series of concerts. 5 acts in all; Canned Heat, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, Edgar Winter, and Ten Years After. All were excellent, except sadly for Ten Years After. Their lead singer/guitarist totally butchered I'd Love To Change The World, one of my favorite songs. Nobody could do it like Alvin Lee. But saying that, bassist Leo Lyons saved the set. An amazing player! As for the other acts, they were all very impressive. They only played 3 or 4 songs each, but they covered all the classics. Winter did Frankenstein and Free Ride, Derringer did Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo and Hang On Sloopy, Canned Heat did Goin' Up The Country, and Travers did Snortin' Whisky and Boom Boom.
