wish i could turn the clock back to last night's concert to see it all again. as well as doing songs from his new album, Because We Can, the guys in the group were able to pick 1 of their favourite songs. the keyboardist did Great Balls of Fire, Jon did Jumpin Jack Flash, Canadian guitarist Phil, did Takin Care of Business.

Good morning, everyone. :)

Sorry for being MIA, this is the first chance I've had to go online (no internet at my folks' and can't transfer mine there).

My Dad is still in CCU, so as many prayers and good thoughts as possible are needed. He survived the initial trauma that the doctors didn't think he would and in some ways is slowly getting stronger, but very very slowly. At this point, he's too weak to address the cancer. I've been dealing with wonderful nurses and less than compassionate doctors (they are highly skilled but have zero bedside manner and I've never seen such discrimination against older folks - all but a few have been ready to write my father off, cause he's over 80). Needless to say, I'm a bundle of nerves.

Brats are all doing well, getting spoiled rotten by my Mom (me too). Tory fish is very happy, so when I eventually get back to normal life, he's staying put. Quincy cat is eating non-stop and has developed an obsession with corn on the cob (yes, he's weird). Lily dog has finally stopped going into my Dad's room and crying (although she still sleeps beside his bed every night).

Better go, before I wake bff1 up (she took me to see Bon Jovi last night as a distraction, so I crashed here).
