Happy Caturday Q sters,
last nights Q bash was great. Q had most of their DJs out. Flairboy was spinning the in between tunes, John Scholes, Ryan Parker, Joanne Wilder, Kim Mitchell, Marc Hayday & Q's big Boss Blair were all there. at one point power went out at Flairboy's panel, which killed the music. while trying to restore the power, bossman Blair grabs the mike & starts rap spurttering the tune We Will Rock You into it to get the crowd going. Mob Barley & Green River Revival were great. they really sounded like the original bands. 5 Man Electrical Band seemed a little off from when i've seen them before. they were good, but they didn't sound like their songs. don't know if that was intentional or not, it was just different. It was great seeing KT & his lovely wife, Mechman & his lovely wife, Karl, Spartacus, Ecat & her Hubby, Lee & her Hubby & Andit. being the DD, i get a kick out of watching the behaviors of the crowd at these events. there was one guy that was a day ahead of himself in a psychedelic way. he was dancing around with his arms in the air & he'd be touching the palm leaves that were hanging off the beams in that "wow man" dreamy way. at 1 point he took his lighter out & tried to set the leaves on fire. a couple of other guys came up to him, 1 put the lighter out while the other pulled him back from the pole. there was a bit of a scuffle, but it didn't get too out of hand. security quickly escorted him out before a fight could back out. all in all it was a great night out, now if we could just get rid of the cold weather & white stuff, it would be perfect.
a beautiful tribute to your Mom, Chers.

David Brenner, the lanky, toothy-grinned "Tonight Show" favorite whose brand of observational comedy became a staple for other standups, including Jerry Seinfeld and Paul Reiser, died Saturday. He was 78.
Brenner, who had been fighting cancer, died peacefully at his home in New York City with his family at his side, according to Jeff Abraham, his friend and publicist.
Rest in Peace, David
You'll sing it when you get it.
