I think we all like bacon, cause it sizzles & then splashes,
Some people eat there bacon in the form of rashes,
Bacon makes any sandwich a most enjoyable delight,
& you can enjoy your bacon any time, morning, noon & night,
I once knew a Mom who even made a bacon birthday cake,
& if you save your bacon fat, you can make a fine milkshake,
Bacon chips, bacon crackers, & bacon bits to top off any salad,
& if you were to google it, there's probably a bacon ballad,
We've seen pics of bacon bandaids & pics of bacon soap & shampoo,
& I also hear there's a funky dance that's called the Bacon-Do,
Although bacon isn't health food & Dr Oz says "it is bad",
Bacon is just one of those foods, that makes so many glad!



I am dedicated this post to Mechman & Wolfie cause it is through them that I have learned that Bacon qualifies to be declared the OFFICIAL DUCT TAPE OF FOOD!

Good morning my Q friends. Have a happy Tuesday. All I want to know is where the Hell is the Spring we are supposed to be having??????? Still cold as being in a freezer. I hate this. Wonder what the birds are thinking. I saw the Canadian Geese flying home on the March 20th. They must be so confused.

That's so AWESOME Kawam, I would be there doing it in a heartbeat!!! Looks like a lot of fun and I love meeting new people and you get exercise. Dance on People!!!!!!

I was up early today, for a change and after I started going through the thread I remembered that today is a special one for me for a number of reasons: 2 and 1/2 years ago to the day I became a non-smoker and have been able to stay clean ever since; this was also the day 3 years ago when I got the call from Derringer and won the Chevy Cruze - I had only been a "lurker" on the site before and promptly joined to acknowledge smartcanucks for their help in posting answers for the prize. I was made most welcome right from the start and have felt at home ever since. Its good to feel the friendship and enjoy others' input on this thread - much more than a social site; more of a cyber family and friends. I also enjoy having forum to share my sometimes bizarre humour - my wife appreciates the break! To top it off I see a new blue heart landed for me today - so maybe I should go dancing in the street too. Thanx all for your friendship and social intercourse. Love you guys. (did he just say what I think he said?)

with Passport Canada Rockit. Better you than me. I don't have to deal with them. but I have to deal with Canadian immigration when I have to renew my Permanent Residence card. It's a nightmare there, most workers there can hardly speak English. It takes all day plus costs you $50. On the other hand I go to the American Consolate, (not sure how to spell?) to renew my passport and you fly through the process. Maybe an hour, if that. Very efficiently run. All the power to you Rockit.
