    Medical doctors receive 7-8 years of rigorous training, of which 2 weeks are devoted to nutrition - so, no wonder they are ignorant. Add to that the incentives they get from pharmaceutical companies for prescribing drugs that will mask symptoms, making the poor patient believe they no longer have a problem. As far back as Hippocrates this was accepted as truth - his quote sums it up: "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"

    The power went out to a large section of the city around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

    There has been no word as to when power will be completely restored.

    evening Q sters,
    it     has been a busy couple of days learning a new computer system & part numbers, but it's been fun too. a whole lot less stress & no politics. so far it has been really enjoyable. now if we could just get rid of this white stuff, all would be right with the world.

    Yes heard the same thing today too. Too bad about Malcolm, but sometimes health issues trump everything else. it was agreed upon by all band members that if they lost another member, they would retire, rather than replace them. it's too bad, they were 1 of the bands on my list to see, but i would rather see Malcolm's health issue looked after & hopefully better, than to see them in concert.
