Well today Mr Mick Jagger gets in 71 hot licks,
& he sure lead a life that's been filled with some kicks!
He's rocked & shimmied all around the globe,
I can still see him gyrating in that flashing strobe,
He's had a life that is hard to conceive,
I'll bet it's even hard for him to believe!
World tours & naughtiness rolled into one,
Certainly a chap that's been seldom outdone,
He's spawned SEVEN children when the time permitted,
At least that's the number to which he's admitted,
He’s hung out with Ronnie & Keith & Charlie,
& I’ve also even heard that sometimes things can get gnarly,
Mick, oh Mick you are still one of my faves,
& I guess you’ve had experiences that are considered close shaves,
I assume that your riches help you to lay low & sit pretty,
But will you be going on tour again from city to city?
Keep on rocking & rolling cuz you know you do it well,
& if you do go on tour…..those ticket$ will sell sell sell!

Happy Birthday to a young lad, who made me a second time Mum,
26 years ago today, I welcomed my 8lb 5oz son!
Curious & inquisitive, what a way to start each day,
He loved getting an early start & still that is his way,
I used to hear him babbling using little baby-guy words,
Sometimes I would whisper quietly, shhh! you’ll awaken all the birds,
An easy going toddler, who had a rambunctious older brother,
Who always took the subtle approach in one way or another,
He loved duplo,lego, & lincoln logs & reading Berenstain Bears,
The Elephant Show & Mr Dress Up kept him busy downstairs,
Those days that you think will last forever become vivid memory files,
Cause we all know life keeps moving, & we chalk up many miles,
A culinary aficionado who enjoys wine & good conversation,
& yes I am a little bit biased when it comes to admiration,
There were times when I was laid up that I felt I was falling short,
He was there to bolster me up with his unwavering support,
Happy Birthday to my boy you are a quarter of a century old,
I am more than twice your age & thrilled you’re in my family fold,
You have dignity that gleams,
Have beliefs & have dreams,
Keep centered, keep hope,
It’s your life, keep scope,
I often feel awestruck by the boy with the eyes the deepest blue,
& I hope you enjoy the cherry cheesecake that I made just for you.
