So my younger brother had hep-c. they gave him the interferon drug. Well it cured his hep-c but put 2 tumors on his kidneys and now he has only days to live. How can they get away with using drugs with such life threatening side effects.I just dont get it.

Good evening from London. Has been a good few days up until days but just got news that my good friend passed away today. So to my buddy Ian Grant you will greatly missed , but at least all those great rock starts have a sound man they can work with. Ian you will be missed!

I totally understand your feelings, we had a close friend go through the same-Hep C and then tumors from the drugs. It was really hard to watch because he had fought a lot in his life and then to be taken down by what was essentially a medical sideswipe was horrible. He was a great guy and deserved so much more. I am sorry you and your family have this happening, hang in there Bernie...sometimes all you can do for someone is love them.

Made to Buffalo and back in one piece yesterday. Our plan of attack was to leave very early which worked fairly well as the borders were super busy but we only waited about 45 mins. Got everything done we needed to do including a pickup stop by CBIUSA which is so brilliant. For 5.95 US you can ship to them and they will hold your item until you can pick it up. They offer other price options but I dont ship enough stuff to justify it. It is great for the odd US retailer like Kohls or Ebay seller who will not ship to Canada. Had a late lunch and headed back about 4:30 just in case the highway was really jammed at the Skyway. We had no wait at Fort Erie, blew through but the line up of cars going into the US was mental! Then just a bit of a bunch up, maybe 5 minutes, at the Skyway Bridge as the few cars travelling the QEW made their way under the bridge. It was very cool to see it from that angle.
On the way down in the morning the truck that hit the bridge was still wedged into the bridge as well as another transport that must have just behind this guy. It looked like the set of a disaster movie. Then coming home, we saw the other truck being taken away so I am sure they are making progress.

We're having a lazy Sunday here, dark & dreary, so what else can we do but nap.

KT, I'm so very sorry about your friend, & Berndawg, so sorry about the loss of your brother. Too much sadness in the world these days. I wish you both comfort and peace.

Still feeling blah, so I think a day watching TV with the brats is in order. Maybe do something silly, like have ice cream for lunch.

Well... they say that Trouble comes in Threes.

1st - Flat Tire
2nd - Lock on the Front Door Broke (cannot Lock it from outside)
3rd - A Screw-Head was stripped on said Lock and I Pinched my Back Drilling it out.
When I got the Lock out, the Tumbler just Disintegrated.

Since I Live in a Condo, Property Management had a Locksmith come and Replace the Lock.

Back Aches, but Better then 20x Hours Ago.

Slowly w*rking on my Chores before I go put the Donut on the Car.

Such as Things Go, I Guess. LOL!!!!
