Andi - I am sending you my wishes & hope for good results at the hospital. You sure have an incredible attitude & you're always so positive with your outlook. I also hope that Quincy will remember his best behavior must be exhibited at all times. Lily dog the same goes for you.
Aloha - Look at your daughter go! She is a brave girl. I am looking forward to more pictures.

Morning/Afternoon all.
Good morning. To those who asked no, the tooth does not hurt, but don’t tell the wife. Went out and bought some Don Julio Blanco for medicinal purposes and I’m sticking to that story!

Going to April Wine at the CNE tonight. Anyone else going. Maybe I'll see you there.
Enjoy the evening!
Good afternoon, everyone. :)
So, things are still wonky with me, what else is new. I think I might have to bring a bottle of hard liquor with me when I go back to the hospital on Friday, since I seem to be driving the doctors there to drink. :P Monday's bloodwork showed that not only the kidney, but the pancreas had stopped working properly. So today they were all set to "pulse" me (and no, it's not called that because the patient feels like the contents of a blender afterwards :P), essentially I would have been overdosed on steroids to jolt the organs into working. Good thing they decided to wait to see the bloodwork from today. Apparently, the pancreas is chugging along happily. At least for now. So, at this point, they don't know what exactly is going on. The transplant co-ordinator (a nurse practitioner who's equal to the doctors in terms of knowledge), the senior specialist and the 'fellow' (the doctor who is learning to specialize in dealing with difficult patients like me) are all confused. My theory is that my body is just wreaked from all the stress I've had this past year.
For now, no pulsing. But, I do get to have a biopsy of the kidney done next week. Ouch. And more bloodwork on Friday (we're getting into the trying to extract blood from a stone stage with my lousy veins :P).
On the plus side, I did get the ultra serious doctor to smile (darn that fella for not laughing  :P).
Hope all is well with everyone. And please don't try one-up me on the health front. I've got the crazy symptom corner covered. :P
