A friend and I were talking about the Clown Riot/Circus Riot last night. Makes me like clowns even less. So much for Toronto being boring.

On a related note Creeky Creekmore, the world's oldest clown died aged 98 - he'll creak no more!

    good morning and holy ----
how lucky are we at the great weather?

    anyone know a trusted plumber?

have the oddest kitchen sink drain problem.
apparently even a bottle of 'one second plumber'
didn't help - so let me know if you know someone, thanks

sorry, i have no rabbits - but willing to exchange any you donate for
    the crazy cats - thanks

Good Afternoon on a day that seems to be growing more & more overcast...(at least in my neck of the woods)

    How is everyone doing?

I had a bit of a longish day yesterday. With the TTC problems it made for problems at some of the clinics at PMH. People were stuck in quite a predicament yesterday when the subway ground to a halt. So many people were late for work & the problems went on all day. Shuttle buses just don't quite cut it. The blood lab had people that were late for work. My clinic was running over one hour behind and even my doc was late.

I felt like I had pulled an all nighter (without the all night fun) yesterday. Our drive in was also a long one. Why are there so many cars on the road with just one driver? Why don't people car pool? You would think there would be an app for that.

We came home along the lakeshore. A much more scenic drive & it really jogs your memory too. I probably saw Captain John's for the last time. I wonder why the City of Toronto allowed that to go on for such a long time?

To any of you east enders...I was a bit surprised to see the other Andrew's Motel almost gone. The last time we drove past about a month or so ago, it looked like it was still operating as a business. More condos perhaps. That neighbourhood needs a boost as it sure is very sad & neglected in spots. Driving down Kingston Rd. reminds me of some of the places in US cities that go from nice average family homes to run down & dilapidated buildings that have been ignored.

Here's a dashboard shot of Captain John's. Too bad it ended up that way.
