Not a nice thought but still something everyone should think about really..........and the reason I stopped eating bacon and any pork products.....Watch W5 at 7 p.m. tomorrow which uncovers many many reasons not to take part in the industry by purchasing it............very sad indeed.........

I think I'll make a carrot cake for my family as a Thanksgiving treat. It's easy to make, it tastes pretty good & everyone seems to like it.

No way, no how I'm cleaning this place for all our guests,

I hope that they at least brought some appetizers,
Finger foods, nachos, cold cuts & fresh kaisers,
Beer & spirits so we can make some cocktails,
Like Harvey Wallbangers, Slings or some Rusty Nails,
Maybe some savory crackers to go with the dip,
If everyone brings something it will be a pip!
Are the guests planning to stay here for lunch?

I may be heading up to Muskoka soon, found a place and got her to reduce the price. Would have gone today but my daughter's Mac stopped working late Thurs. night (didn't help that she spilled some water!!!) Everywhere we looked to have it repaired couldn't look at it until after the holiday or Wed. and then to order a part would take longer which would take up her whole week off. She desperately needs it to do some assignments that she has to get done before we go to Turkey - so yesterday was very stressful. Found one place that may be able to do it today - left it there yesterday and waiting for them to call. Everything is on hold until then. I can't tell this person with the cottage anything until then - geez such a nice weekend though - wishing I was up there!!! and Monday it may get rainy - darn.........well, we shall see what happens just hope her computer gets fixed - she is so dependent on it!!!:yikes:
