Good morning, everyone.
It's so nice to finally (!!!) see sunshine again! It seems like there's been dark gloomy skies for nearly 2 weeks now (only nice sunny day I can remember is the day of the funeral). Have errands to run today, so hoping the little patient behaves herself and doesn't scratch at her booboo (so far she's been mostly good, can't fault her for being uncomfortable now that it's healing and itchy). Short one has sent poor Lily dog off to her bed, he's in the king-of-the-universe you must obey me mode. Guess who just got sent to jail?
Lots of chores that are being put on hold lately (too busy playing with the brats, I know where my priorities lie ), so will have to tackle those later. Or tomorrow. Or whenever.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

My first REAL bike in 1972, was definitely a he.
On a cold damp morning kick starting, it would kick back and try to launch you over the handlebars.
If you flooded the carburetor..... go back in for another beer, you're not going anywhere for 20 minutes.

Getting car tires rotated and balanced, in the meantime, riding music:
Run for the hills pick up your feet and lets go
We did our jobs pick up speed now lets move
The trees cant grow without the sun in their eyes
And we can't live if we're too afraid to die
Hold on tight yes hold on tight you're too slow
Fire at the breeze that blows these thoughts through our mind
Hire only thieves to steal the thoughts from our heads

Ah yes, memories of my biking years.
I’d been a cop for 2 years in England and had the chance to go on a 3 week police motorcycle course in Staffordshire. It was awesome and I learned so much. A year later I was sent back for the 3 week advanced course and we rode Saints while the instructor rode a Bonneville – we had no chance of catching him! After graduating I became a traffic cop for a few years and rode Norton Commandos. No kidding about the compression kickback on those beasts and if you didn’t clear the clutch plates before starting – good luck
