Had a great dinner last night at Sazzafraz! very good service and food, would have been quite a bit more pricey without the Groupon though!

Spent some time at the H.S. today - met the cutest one year old Persian!!! so cute and sweet - got shipped from a Montreal shelter, some idiot had the poor thing declawed and then abandoned it!!! People can be so cruel, I don't get it.

Walked downtown again and off to a movie later............have a good one everyone!

Hey, here he is finally.

First off thanks to all for the many greetings here and on that book of faces. I'm most fortunate to have so many people who want to send b/day greetings to this old git. It means a lot to me. On top of that I heard from my kids; grandson; and family/friends in South Africa; England and Netherlands - makes me feel more than a bit special.

After a leisurely start to the day the kween and me headed out to have a yummy brekkie at the Sunset Grill in Leaside; followed by a stop at the nearby LCBO where we picked up a bottle of Hendrick's Gin; a Crazy Uncle's Uber Caesar and a McManis wine from Napa - one of which will likely get mouth to mouth before too long!

We got the licence stickers done at Service Ontario on Eglinton and Brentcliffe - efficient and relatively pleasant. Then down to O'Connor and Pape area to load up at the "Chocolate Box" for British goodies - alas, they've packed their tent and gone. Still we found a Greek bakery a few doors away and satisfied a few sweet cravings there instead.

We're going out for a meal on Saturday evening to do the formal celebration and that will be at Luci Restaurant on The Queensway in the west end.
