Good Morning. I am just LOVING this weather. Can't wait til Friday, hopefully it's nice like this so I can go to my cousin's for a swim I can't wait to get to the beach too, ooooh I love summer!!

Morning all.....wow, it was sure a hot one yesterday....suffice to say I now own very clean pores at great expense to my hair and make-up application....ew...
.....thanks for all the words and reps, and private messages, too...I'm just plodding along here....my computer is a pain in the butt (I need a new one), and after forking out over $300 to an on-line company who say they can repair my pc?....well, they haven't, so I'll be on the blower to them today....compter still freezes up after about 20 minutes, sometimes less, and last night, the dreaded blue screen of death.....again!!!!....aaaargghhh!!!!
....my dad's still in hospital awaiting O.R. time to get the amputation done....what a thought....ew....he doesn't do well with the strong pain meds he's getting, so he's "away with the fairies" when you try to talk to him....he doesn't know what he's saying, although there are a few moments of lucidity....after yesterday's cancelled surgery, today might be the day....
....and my older kid moved out yesterday....he FINALLY got a job, so I am hoping that being out of the house will be a good eye opener for him....he moved in with his "girl friend", according to him NOT his "girlfriend" ( see the difference?...and I know she absolutely adores him, but it's not returned as she would like it )...more of a friends-with-benefits situation, I think.....she can be a control freak, and when she WAS his G/F a few years back, he dumped her for that very reason....so we'll see how it goes over the summer.....
....sorry bout the lengthy catch-up...life can get in the way of being on here, it seems, so welcome to anyone new, happy birthday to anyone who celebrated lately, and let's hope summer has finally landed in our neck of the woods...TR

Your comment of yesterday's weather cleaning out your pores reminds me of some of the cottages in Northern Ontario where they have saunas. The way they take a bath there is to sweat in the sauna then go jump in the lake to wash off all the sweat and dirt.

I haven't done that in years, but I do miss doing it. Of course good old fashioned soap and water does a much better job, and I like the smell of Irish Spring.
