So sorry to hear about your brother H team, sending some positive vibes out and hoping they can help a little.....................
Congrats to your daughter alahomom! What kind of prom did they have? The one my daughter went to cost over $100 not counting the dress etc. She's not the type to go overboard though, just went out of curiosity and didn't spend a lot on the dress (but it looked nice and dressy anyway) like some of the others who spent $100's on their dress. I'm one who didn't go either......just wasn't into that kind of thing back then...............
Wemt for breakie/brunch on the Danforth today and walked around although it was pretty darn wet!!!!!
Don't blame you at all for not wanting to do the housework 22, I find it especially a "chore" when it is sunny out, then the beach is calling my name and I find it very hard to resist!!!!!
Haven't checked my Lotto tickets yet, have any of you?
Congratulations to Breanna!!
I went to my prom, but it wasn't called a prom, it was called a semi-formal... I took one of my best friend's brother's (no commitment) and had a great time!!! He knew all of our friends and he was more of my friend than a date....
I got to know my husband (better) later that night after the "prom". I met him a few weeks before prom but I was too afraid to ask him to be my date. That was May 1983, and we got married in July of 1986.. as they say, the rest is "history"!! :P

Wishing all the best for your brother H team. :sweet:
We left the boat early this afternoon... we didn't realize that the marina was having a huge sale today (and the last two week-ends)... spent an hour shopping and picked up some great deals.... we stopped in Barrie for an early dinner and then stopped again at Home Depot before coming home... It was the most productive 6 hour drive in a long time...

evening Q sters,
a cold rainy day out. there was no hanging laundry out to dry today. i even put the fireplace on while watching the race to stay warm.
tomorrow's contest starts at 8 am with the 1st password, then 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm & the last password at 5 pm. we don't have to worry about overnight words. good luck to everyone on that one.
