@the H team - I'm really feeling for you. It's a horrendous task packing / moving a lifetime of stuff you've accumulated, but you're almost there. In a few days, you'll be in your new home. Unpacking, and making it yours. By this time next week, it will be mostly memories, so hang in there.
It's been a long time coming, but you're almost at the finish line.

Tim Hortons coffee, hockey jerseys, Stompin’ Tom–these guys nailed it all. Michael Hiscock - Nov 5
Greg Arlett and Adonus Wiseman are as Canadian as they come.
Greg is a fan of the Edmonton Oilers, while Adonus roots for the Montreal Canadiens. But when this couple isn’t glued to the good ol’ game, they’re ordering their favourite drinks at Tim Hortons.
That’s why it’s no surprise that when the couple’s plans for a destination wedding in Mexico fell through, they soon turned to Canada’s favourite coffee-chain as a possible venue alternative. After a quick chat with the manager, they knew they were good to go. But Arlett and Wiseman wanted to keep that detail a secret, so none of the guests were told where the wedding was actually going to be held.
“All we told them was to meet us at the parking lot of Tim Hortons,” Arlett said during a telephone interview. “And to show up in hockey attire.”
Once the crowd gathered, the couple set the ceremony off in the most Canadian way possible.
“We started a fight over hockey,” Arlett said.
The wedding officiate, who was dressed as a referee, quickly ran over blowing his whistle to break it up. That’s when the couple announced that the ceremony would be held inside the Tim Hortons beside them.
This is where the Canadiana really starts to ramp up.

The couple exchanged both vows and hockey jerseys in front of the referee, while a performer played Stompin Tom’s The Hockey Song in the background. Meanwhile, Tim Hortons coffee and about 400 Timbits were served to the guests.

In keeping with the polite nature of Canada, the store was never actually closed to the public. So no Canadians were denied their precious double-doubles in the making of this wedding. In fact, people from the drive-thru line actually came inside to see what was going on.
But that’s not all.
At the very end, everyone left with a Tim Hortons gift card and a puck-themed wedding favour that read “We played, we scored, always and forever Mr. & Mrs.”

“I love that it was something for us,” Arlett said, looking back at the ceremony. “Not the $50,000 wedding for everyone else.”
Of course, a moose-drawn carriage and some bagged milk wouldn’t have hurt, but we’re willing to let those slide. If there was a Stanley Cup for this sort of thing, we know exactly who we’d give it to.
Here’s to Greg Arlett and Adonus Wiseman, may they continue to enjoy the wonders of Tim Hortons coffee together for many years to come.
Good morning fellow Canucks!
Big bag of wind today, but at least it isn't cold out. Now, if 5:00 will come around sooner, then I would be a much happier man!
Have a great day folks!
