Good morning my Q friends. HAPPY CATURDAY !!!! L can't believe all the Christmas movies on TV already. CRAZYAs Loocie says it's not even Remembrance Day. or American Thanksgiving. DUH!!!!

Oh, I forgot to tell you, I had a real scare the night before last. Jake and I were going for our early evening walk.
We went down the 1st few steps, & Jake yelped. For a second, I thought he was hurt, but it wasn't a pain yelp. He ran back up the stairs, and started clawing @ the screen door to get back in, whining all the time. Once in, he ran and hid.

I went back out to see if I could figure out what scared him.
Right in front of me, about 6 feet away, under the tree on my front lawn, was a coyote.
I'm glad I trusted his instincts. I never would have seen it.
I'll tell you, Jake was really 'off' all evening. With every sound, he hid his head under my arm.

I think I've had enough wildlife encounters for a very long time !!!

Wow Hicks!! Good thing Jake wanted to go back in!! Animals are so smart and don't get half of the credit they deserve.....

Oscar is coming over for dinner and a visit tomorrow night. I can't wait!!



Mom caught Oscar in a yawn, but I told her it looked like he was laughing....

Hubby and I have been enjoying the nice weather lately and have been walking a lot!! Yesterday he suggested that we walk over to the Keg for dinner. What a great idea and an amazing dinner - not to mention the bottle of wine that we could both thoroughly enjoy without have to worry about driving home!!

The sunshine today is so nice!! I hope everyone can get out and enjoy!!

It does look like he's laughing. He's adorable.

Strange knock at the door this morning. Scrabbling sound.

Before I opened the door I looked out the window to see a squirrel running away.

He left me a large nut on the stoop.

Not sure what kind of message this is....but it has to be a message...
