Two Air France Flights Diverted Due To Threats – One Lands In Halifax
Two Air France planes en route to Paris from the United States have been diverted after bomb threats made from the ground.
One Flight from Washington has landed at Halifax Stan-field Airport in Nova Scotia. RCMP officers and emergency services were on the ground when the plane touched down but it has landed safely.
All 298 passengers and crew are said to have exited the plane and been taken to a secure area in the airport. A second plane from Los Angeles to Paris has landed safely in Salt Lake City.
