thinking most know it is nasty outside, did the bird feeder
and needed some more traction - so please be darn careful.
cars are having quite a problem getting up the crescent.
it's snow, it's ice, it's freezing rain, eeekkkk- it is winter
still trying to recover from the sister in law from hell,
at the family christmas get together,
telling me i was raised in a barn as she thought i insulted her dad.
so am peeved if she thought that - why not say it when 'it' happened,
(instead of after her dad and mom had left)
extra special she called the sun catchers i gave to most a
coaster,,,, aawwww
anyway shutting up. but really her dad and i have a lot of fun
kidding each other, so her comment hurts my heart.
just for fun he went to pick up an open bottle of wine whilst
we had eye contact, 'is this bottle open?', yikes..
amazing how fast he stopped more from spilling, but geee
was a fun moment or 2 --- amazing how a person's eyes
look when all hell is about to break loose,,,,

The short one is almost back to normal. Yesterday, he decided to eat on his own for the first time in days. I think he is sick & tired of me force feeding him (it wasn't pretty, but he needed something to keep up his strength and the other option was leaving him in hospital with an IV which would have made him even more unhappy). He is still being sucky & wants to be with me and insists on eating out of my hand (not so bad with kibble, kinda yucky with turkey, not happening with wet cat food ;)). He started to play a bit this morning, but still hasn't tried to beat up poor Lily dog (she's upset cause she thinks she did something wrong to incur his apathy). The vet can't figure out what exactly was wrong (tests show that Quincy is a perfectly healthy cat for his 9 years), I think he had a sore throat and it hurt to swallow. I'm just happy to have my silly boy almost back to normal. I just won't think about the CC debt til January. :P
Was supposed to run an errand this morning, but that is not happening with all the slush and yuck outside. Guess I should do some housework. Bleh. Maybe I'll just cuddle the brats instead. The last 2 years have been so chaotic, I really need to get myself back on track. My New Years resolutions are to make more of an effort to keep in touch with friends, better manage my time (actually, my energy, since I tend to overdo things then crash - that's what happens when there are so many fun things to do and great people to see), and spend more time spoiling the brats (at this point, I don't care if I create monsters, they deserve to be treated like royalty for putting up with me :P).
Better get started with my most important tasks of the day - making the brats happy. :)

have had a kitty that needed iv andi, and although i am a terrible wimp for needles
and one uses a 14 gauge (like we would have) we were able to for a year and a half
= amazing when the kitty (tiggy) would come up stairs at the right time
round about way of saying quincy might be dehydrated, so a bit of iv would
help, and is easy, sort of.
sometimes it is hard to tell if someone is dehydrated

Brats are napping, so I'd better go make some popsicles with some of the broth I made for Quincy cat (poor Lily dog felt left out yesterday when she didn't get any).
