Starting tomorrow,

Now that Christmas is over it’s time to start paying of those holiday bills.
We want to help pay’em off with Q107’s $1,000 Cash Tracks.
Starting Monday, January 4^th at 7:00am, we will be announcing our daily Cash Track for the day. The first time we play that song later in the day call 416-870-ROCK (7625) or 416-870-ROLL (7655). The 10^th caller through wins $1,000.

It's great the Q is getting back into contests again. This one is a nice one except it would be much better if they would give you some kind of hint when that song would be played during the day. Boom 97 has had similar contests but they had a way of you finding out at least what hour the song would be played in during the day.

We had my dad's funeral yesterday in Teeswater. It was very nice. It was great to see so many of my dad's friends show up. Most of the family showed up. The good thing was the weather held out. No snow just windy. I felt bad for the bagpipe player in his kilt out at the cemetery. The wind was blowing just as hard as he was blowing on his bagpipes. Now I'm ready for the New Year. My dad is home with his family in peace. I LOVE you dad. You were the greatest dad ever. PEACE AND LOVE
Last games in regular season NFL football today. GO SEAHAWKS GO!!!!!

Glad the funeral went as well as it could. Funerals are never easy that's for sure. Hope your brother came through and offered to drive you in the end, if not I think being a jerk at a sad time like that is especially bad, that's for sure!!!

I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like your dad was loved and admired by a lot of family and friends. I am glad you were able to see them and hope they can bring comfort and support.

One more New Year's picture.......(sorry!) I am glad that the "Q" is getting into contests again too. I miss the old days of finding the sleuth, the pigskin picks, trivia etc..... I even miss the slots. I wonder why they stepped away from that format??? Anyhow, we all have to catch up & get back into the groove of normal......whatever that is!

My youngest bully bro drove me to Teeswater and my middle younger bro who works high up in HBC, drove me home. Everything was peaceful.

I'm glad you were able to get to your Dad's funeral and that it was well attended.
As you say he's at peace now. Who will you play scrabble with now?
