    This corner looks sooo different now. The Bank is still there (for the time being), and the streetcar (501) still rumbles along Lake Shore. The factory is still there, empty (for the time being). Condo buildings line Park Lawn (west) with more going up, and the empty lot in the foreground an Esso station that will soon be in the shadow of twin condo towers 46 and 65 stories.

    Speaking of smelling awesome. When we first moved to Hamilton in 1952 we lived on Wilson Street near Wellington. Behind us on Rebecca St was the original Fearmans Processing plant. Talk about smelling awesome , it was - AWESOMELY BAD!!!!!!

    Fearmans Pork is a horrible place. They force 10,000 innocent pigs into a gas chamber a day and then when they come out the other end (hopefully dead before the next step is taken) I will spare the gory gory details but suffice it to say after they are "processed" they end up in pieces wrapped in cellophane and in your supermarket whereupon many people purchase these pieces and think nothing of what these poor animals had to endure before and after ending up at "Fearmans Processing Plant" This hell of a "plant" is found in Burlington..............
