I wish I were sipping this afternoon - maybe I would have felt better.... I'm coming down with a cold and have felt crappy all day.... I just poured myself a glass of red wine and I'm going to bed very soon.... we have our annual street party tomorrow night, and I want to be half alive for it.... lol...

...hey Lee03....get yourself some of that Cold FX stuff....I am taking it right now to fight off a cold as well....used it before, and the cold just didn't come to much at all....I think it's a really good product...pricey, but when you feel crappy, you would pay just about anything not to feel that way....LMK if you get it and agree with me....and nope, I am not getting any kickback for product endorsement.....

I was horrified the first time and every time after this ad is shown.
My daughter mutes the sound or changes the channel whenever it appears
I have no idea who they surveyed for this shoot or if they actually did....
however, I do not know anyone woman who behaves in this manner.
I looked for the actual clip and could not find it.

....ew.....gross....especially the undies bit.....I have a hard time picking up my own yesterday undies after a shower...I pick them up and hold them as far away from me as I can, with 2 fingers....my mum laughed her head off when she saw me do that, and wondered what I would do when I had kids....well, I was Ok with them for whatever reason, and I STILL carry them to the washbasket with 2 fingers....again, EW!!...TR

The good news is that she's coming home for the weekend. They're either taking pity on her or don't want a patient who wants to get ready to face the world at 5am.

The bad news is that it's definitely cancer & she has to have her bladder removed in the next week or so.

Please keep the prayers & good thoughts coming. This lady is one of the sweetest people I know.

....so Friday has rolled back around again...gotta get groceries before we get outta Dodge for the weekend...we weren't going to go back to the cottage this weekend at all, considering we had just come back Tuesday, but nice weekends will be coming to an end real soon.... it wasn't closed up Labour Day, cos holidays were interrupted when my dad died, so we're playing catchup now....
...I dunno what to do for dinners there...I am tired of burgers by this point in the year, so maybe I'll prep shishkebabs or something like that....haven't had those all summer....yeah, I talked myself into it....LOL!!!...
