Donaldson Lifts Blue Jays Over Yankees
Josh Donaldson hit a three-run homer and Troy Tulowitzki added a solo shot to power the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-2 win over the New York Yankees on Thursday night.
Marcus Stroman (2-0) worked eight innings as the Blue Jays took the rubber game in the three-game series at Rogers Centre.

The Price of Hydro Slated to Increase in May
The cost of hydro is slated to rise on Sunday, May 1st by 2.5% on homes across the province.
That means your bill will now be increased by an average of $3.13. for households that consume an average of 750 kWh.
New time of use rates are being implemented because Ontarians used less electricity than expected during the winter.
- Prices for off-peak hours (weekdays: 7 p.m.-7 a.m.) will go up 0.4 cents to 8.7 cents/kWh.
- Prices for mid-peak hours (weekdays: 7-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m.) will go up 0.4 cents to 13.2 cents/kWh.
- Prices for on-peak hours (weekdays: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.) will go up 0.5 cents to 18 cents/kWh.
Time of use prices are set to recover a forecast cost of power as well as account for differences that build up over time between forecast and actual costs of electricity.
My snows will be on till the end of April. The pool I use to open around the May 24 weekend, unless it has been really warm at the beginning of May. The pool is someone elses problem this year. :cheesygrin:Quote:

Mom's surgery got canceled (Dr found enough of a sample last time they drained the fluid to test, so no biopsy needed for now). So, I decided to stay downtown, so my poor Mom can sleep (the brats get so excited that they wander all night).
In keeping with the theme of making Andi's life far from calm, I'm dealing with a plumbing issue, so I'm off to the hardware store this morning to pick up a part to hopefully fix it and save the cost of a plumber. Have theatre tonight to look forward to & relax a bit. :)
Brats are in a mood these days, especially the short one. I decided to put together a puzzle yesterday & a certain someone lay in the middle of the board & hissed and attacked the pieces that were making his nap spot uncomfortable. It was all I could do to not burst out laughing. :P
Better get moving.

Boy, Hydro can't control their spending and politicians giving themselves raises, but increasing taxes. What can we do?
Look at the gas stations all soaking us with the same price, cell phone companies also soaking us, banks with their service charges. There is no competition. They all collude with each other. And there is also nothing we can do.
