I think that colourful building is called the Portofino tower. I see it and wish I could afford to live there every time we leave Miami on a cruise ship.

Good morning fellow Canucks!
I wish I could be a gentleman of leisure just like Mechman, but I am too young (but old enough to know better) and I can't afford it.
Oh well, I'll just have to enjoy the beautiful weather from the comfort of my air conditioned office.
Is it 5:00 yet?
Have a great day folks!
Good morning
it sure it hot out!

Hello folks. :hello:
Couldn't stop by earlier, I had an dentist appt. @ dawn, which went well, so I stopped by the casino.
I WON $5,000. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did my grocery shopping, and stopped by the bank.
Now, I'm dripping. Boy, it's humid. I might just have to give in and turn the air conditioning on. :(
I love the heat, but even this is a little too hot for me.
It's Whitby's Ribfest this w/end, so my only plans are to get some ribs, and a funnel cake. I just love funnel cakes, and only have about 1 a year, so I'm really looking forward to it.
I hope you all have a great day; stay cool and hydrated.
Believe me, I did. Fingers crossed.
Enjoy your w/end.
There's one 5 minutes from here; such a temptation, but let me know if you're interested. We could play the slots till the money runs out, then eat in their restaurant. The foods not bad at all. I'm game. :)
Too bad, it would be nice seeing you again, but Carabram sounds like fun too. Enjoy.
It was Postman Pat’s last day on the job after 35 years of carrying the mail through all kinds of weather to the same villages and towns.
When he arrived at the first house on his route, he was greeted by the whole family there, who all hugged and congratulated him and sent him on his way with a cheque for £50.
At the second house they presented him an 18-carat gold watch.
The folks at the third house handed him a bottle of 15-year old Scotch whisky.
At the fourth house he was met at the door by a blonde in her lingerie. She took him by the arm and led him up the stairs to the bedroom where she blew his mind with the most passionate love he had ever experienced.
When they went downstairs, the blonde fixed him a full English breakfast: bacon, eggs, sausage and tomato with freshly squeezed orange juice. As she was pouring him a cup of steaming coffee, he noticed a pound coin in the saucer.
‘All this was just too wonderful for words,’ he said, ‘but what’s the pound for?’
‘Well,’ said the blonde, ‘last night, I told my husband that today would be your last day and that we should do something special for you.
‘I asked him what I should give you.
‘He said, ‘ him. Give him a quid.’
She smiled shyly and said, ‘The breakfast was my idea.’
