Thanks for all of the words and reps today... My daughter is doing much better today... she (we) had a pretty rough night last night, but today wasn't so bad... She's still very sore, but we're managing the pain better now with the meds.... she was so sore yesterday

Tomorrow is a full day at Sick Kids getting ready for surgery #3 coming up soon....

Nancy Reagan regarding John Hinckley's release: We could all learn so much from this elegant and gracious lady. You might recall that John Hinckley was a seriously deranged young man who shot President Reagan in the early 1980's.


Hinckley was absolutely obsessed with movie star Jodie Foster, and, in his twisted mind, loved Jodie to the point that to make himself well known to her, he attempted to assassinate President Reagan. There is speculation Hinckley may soon be released as having been rehabilitated. (Ed note: Hinckley is still institutionalized at St. Eliz, but was granted increased family visitation and travel rights in 2009. Nancy Reagan turns 90 this July 6.)
