A few years ago, my best friend & I were out late, so she stayed over at my place. Not sure how she did it, but in the middle of the night, she somehow managed to lock us out of the bathroom (I think it might have been the dog playing a practical joke ). The 52 states thing is an odd phenomenon, so many people think there are 52 instead of 50. I've heard people say with authority that Alaska and Hawaii became the 51st and 52nd states, when in fact they were 49th and 50th.

It gets confusing because you have Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands that are actually US territories and not actual States.

Went to one of my fave nurseries.. finally found the jap maple I have been looking for, a Toyama Nishiki.. this will be my 20th Japanese maple.. what can I say.. some folks love shoes.. I love maples

This is a picture taken from directly above these camels in the desert at sunset. It is considered to be one of the best pictures of the year. When you look closely, you can see that the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black images you see are just the shadows!
