LCBO sales close in on $5-billion

thinking i missed when someone posted about the racoon guy
can't imagine living near anyone who would do what he did.

i have seen a few racoons here - babies crawling down from
apple tree - smaller than my cats,,,

I am not condoning what the guy is accused of doing to those baby raccoons, but if he's been victimized by them in the past, I can understand his anger. I have seen the damage raccoons can do to a house. I helped a friend renovate a house that had belonged to an elderly couple. They both moved to a nursing home but their house sat vacant for months with no maintenance because their dopey son had put it on the market at a highly inflated price. It ended up in power of sale and my friend bought it in an auction without being able to do an inspection. The transaction took extra time because of the dopey son and his band of lawyers. By the time my friend took possession and got in there, the raccoons had destroyed all of the insulation and wiring in the attic. They had chewed through the bedroom ceiling and walls and destroyed most of the interior. We ended up gutting the entire house down to the studs just to be sure we got to all of the damage. We even had to replace some studs and joists. It was a complete mess. And the smell when we first got in? The expression "It would gag a maggot!" comes to mind.
