Just wanted to say thanks a bunch for your comments for the winning words, trivia and banter. Also thanks for your comments on my profile, reps and on this board on my son's performance. He was invited by Long and McQuade (where he takes his lessons) to perform this Saturday in Brampton at their Customer Appreciation Day. My son is looking forward to that, but I think it is also the free hot dogs and the bouncy castle that they will have there.

After watching that I was thinking how proud I was of the fans - no idea as to what the hooligans had planned

didn't realize till later that riots were going on outside either. the fans inside seemed real respectful. it's a shame.

People do these things because they feel they "can". There is a very good possibility that if The Canucks had have won there would have been trouble. Mob mentality is troubling & puzzling.

I hope as many people as possible will have some consequences to face for their actions.....Then the boneheads will require legal aid & it's going to cost taxpayers even more money.

The Canucks fans were so gracious last night when Boston raised the cup. They are the true fans & this in no way is a reflection of how *we* really are as people.

Too bad there isn't really a way to hold these *people* financially accouuntable.
- garnish wages
- repossess their cars
- force them to way monitoring devices so *they* can be tracked.

Some of those idiots even bragged about it on facebook. Let's hope they get nailed.

i know monteal was bad for riots & burning, didn't really think the yuppies on the west coast had the time or the inclination for that sort of stuff. guess i was wrong. couldn't believe the amount of people bragging about it either. i agree with you, loocie, hopefully they will be found, prosecuted, & have to pay for the damage.

Same thing happened in 1994 after the Canucks lost on game 7. And I believe there would have been rioting even if they won (just like in Montreal). I sometimes wonder if there are people who actually travel across the country for just such occasions

One thing I know too, there would be rioting in Toronto too if the Leaf lost (or won) the Stanley Cup finals. Unfortunately, we'll never know for sure...
