I know Argo - your heart must feel like it is breaking - I've been thinking of you and Bailey..........
having a pet we love brings such joy until they are gone and then it is so painful....... you will make it through but it won't be easy as I'm sure you loved Bailey a lot......

She was 17yrs old, her hips were gone and she was having other problems....she let us know that it was time... I'm so glad of the time we had...I think she stayed with as long as she did for US....Pets are so important in so many ways....
Unconditional love rocks...and that feeling of having that never goes away...

Almost 40 years ago today.......

Ron Ellis, Paul Henderson, Vic Hadfield & Don Awrey,
Were once on a team who still tell a story,
Pete Mahovolich, Marcel Dionne & Gilbert Pereault,
Were also there…don’t you just know,
Naughty Wayne Cashman & Bobby-Clobber-Clarke,
All can tell you it wasn’t just a walk in the park,
Phil-Smilin’-Esposito, Brad Park & Dennis Hull,
Will tell you all, there was not a moment that twas dull,
Ken Dryden, Stan Mikita & Guy LaPointe,
Sticks on the ice, they did not disappoint,
Yvan Cournoyer, Mickey Redmond & Serge Savard,
Were part of the reasons we Canucks Stand On Guard,
Rod Gilbert, Pat Stapleton & Brian Glennie,
To pay that kind of talent today would cost a pretty penny,
Bill White, Jean-Paul Parise & ode to Bobby Orr,
That Parry Sound defenseman sure knew how to score,
I still remember the headlines & the pride of elation,
Back when Canada stuck together & was more of a nation,
Maybe these moments became feelings to us,
& that’s why hockey is a game that we all love to fuss,
We used to watch hockey with Dad on our lone TV,
& adjust the bunny ears, then curse the referee,
No sports bars, no flat screens, just great play by play,
Yes, hockey also meant family back way back in the day,
Even the beer commercials you’d never PVR,
& those memorable ads for a sporty new car,
As all of you have figured I’m a sentimental sap,
& that’s all for now, this rhyme is a rap.

Woweeeeeee Loocie!
That was some serious 'splainin.
Never quite got hockey
I was always complainin'
Looked like thugs on ice
Not a gentleman's sport,
Followed soccer as always
Without another thought.
Now you've given me some reference
I can watch with deference.
Appreciating the history by
dispelling the mystery.

You never got hockey, well I never got soccer,
I was too busy practising to be Betty Crocker,
Soccer fields are large & grassy,
Though some of the players look ever so classy,
Hockey is of course our national treasure,
You can play for sport or watch it for pleasure,
I know about Beckham & wonder just what he bent?
& I have heard that he's rather a wealthy gent,
Manchester United or Manchester City?
Blackpool or Liverpool, which one needs more pity?
I would like to know more about how soccer is played,
& is it a game where the players are very well paid?
Why do people sing when they go to a game?
Is it to support their team by way of proclaim?
How come the fans seem to jostle & rumble?
& in soccer can you screw up like an NFL fumble?
Sports fans are people who get carried away,
Cause for every sporting event, there waits a hooray.

Hi Everyone!

Kind of busy today dealing with the "wall of cute", I spent about 4 hours cuddling some sweet, cute furry beings!!!
It's a tough thing to do - but I guess someone has to do it!!!!

Here's an example of what I was "dealing" with!!!

My thoughts are with you Argo!
My Chevy passed Easter Sunday, but the GRAND memories that he gave my granddaughter makes it's so much easier.
Take care!
