just got an email from rodent. all it contained was a picture for a car with the right side front & rear doors smashed in, no other explanation. of course i emailed back the who, what, where, when, why & is. apparently everyone is ok. some broad t-boned rodent's fiance yesterday after he had dropped rodent off at her course. as far as i can tell, the caravan bumper didn't get as near as much damage as the lancer. the vehicle's are at the claim center awaiting estimates. in the mean time he has a complimentary car, but rodent can't drive it cause she's not old enough. has to be 24, she just turned 23. nothing like having your heart in your throat till you find out all is ok. not sure how this is going to affect her co-op job placement in the new year. hopefully the car will be fixed or replaced before then.

That's horrible!! Good thing everyone is ok...

Gmail is consuming ALL of my time, but I'm down to 786 conversations to organize (plus I did other things today at work too....) That's not bad from over 1200 yesterday....

I can't find the picture, but my son and his roommates decorated a Christmas tree in his apartment last year with empty beer cans... it was pretty funny.... got quite a bit of $$ back after Christmas too when they returned the empties!!

Good evening all. When Lizzie comes to visit me from Argentina in February I have a Rogers pay as you go sim card for her, however, I don't have an extra phone to put it in. Does anyone have an old cell phone thrown in a drawer that we could borrow for 3 months?

I have one that is not in use, but I do not know if it takes Sim Cards or not.

It is Thursday evening and I have not been here all day.
I was incredibly busy today and still have a few reports to
complete before I turn off my work computer.

I had to do an errand before and decided to top up my fuel tank!
The moment I began filling my tank, it began to rain again.....
Good thing I have curly hair..... The humidity loves me!
I checked fuel prices before I went out. They were anywhere from
111.13 ........118.5 I just do not get it. Luckily the 111.13 was located
where I had to go....
I shall be around..... just need to complete my few reports....

they had me build a wall in a sun room for this really nice couple, and told me the dimensions of the door they had not yet purchased,today i picked up the door and needless to say took down part of the wall to accomadate the doors real dimensions. this is the kind of thing that drives me closer to being crazy

Apparently Dubai doesn't have a sewage system for all those big new buildings. They must haul it all away. Each truck holds 10,000 gallons.

Look at the number of tank trucks -- miles of them and not one moving.

All waiting to dump their load. They wait for days. That is a lot of .

Amazingly, Dubai doesn't have a sewage infrastructure to support its skyscrapers, including the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

Drivers said they'd been waiting in line for three days!

Unsurprising then, that many dump their loads into storm drains that lead directly to the open sea. Tourists are warned of the risk of contracting serious illnesses like typhoid and hepatitis if swimming on Dubai beaches.
