Great day on the slopes yesterday, although the sun only made one brief appearance, the snow conditions were grand ( to quote a fav member )
Home for the Leaf game tonight, then back to the slopes tomorrow.
Brilliant weekend reps for one and all.
    Injoy
Your snow dance must have worked, you've given us a perfect weekend!

If all of winter would have days like this, I might not even complain about the cold, but Thursday was just ridiculous!

Still, can't wait to sell the rental and get back to Asia!

    Beautiful day!

Hope everyone has a GRAND Caturday!

Here's a pretty incredible video of human interaction with mountain gorillas, or should I say vice versa!

    Good morning, everyone.

Nice to see the sun shining again, even if there are a few flakes floating around (& I don't just mean my cranky neighbours ). Critters are napping. Temptation, temptation.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

    Good morning my friends!
Was a busy couple of days for me....

    I had surgery yesterday..
    It was not anything major...
Had a tooth implant... actually I will not have the actual
    tooth for another 6 months
I have a follow up appointment on Friday to make sure
    the wound is healing properly.
After that I have to go back for a check up 3 - 4 months later.
The procedure was easier that I thought. It was just about pain free!
The one thing that did bother me was the sound of dentist drilling
into my bone to make a place for the implant...
This drill is not high pitched like a typical drill.
They gave me a pan killer before they began the procedure which I
    thought was a great idea.
I had to begin taking antibiotics right after the surgery and anti-inflammatories!
I am not in pain at all and there is no swelling what so ever.

We also had to buy a new TV which was done last night.
That was our 2nd plasma that stopped working.
It was supposed to be the best one 2 1/2 yrs ago.
Panasonic didn't bother to tell customers there was a problem with a switch.
It could be repaired for a mere $800.
    No thank you!
Plasma TVs are on their way out.

We bought an LED 3D TV and the extended warranty which I negotiated
a hundred or so off the price...

I do not watch much TV so ir will be my daughter using it most...

We shall see how it operates before too long...

Thank you for the notes, PMs and reps...
I am going through everything and will respond shortly...

My daughter brought clothes to me I bought her for Christmas!

    They are too big.....
So I have to return them today....
Fortunately I have 90 days for a full refund....

    RE dentist....
It makes a huge difference on who the dentist is for sure....
Our family dentist sold his practice 8 months ago and only got a letter last month. We liked him, though the new dentists ( wife and hubby)
    are far superior....
The one who did my implant yesterday is excellent.
The cost of the implant is not

As for a TV what are you looking for exactly and what will you do with it?
Just watch TV, movies, concerts. gaming?
    What size???
As for plasma. They will not be around much longer.
We would not get another after 2 of use died with in 3 years

Very nice Loocie.. my Mom's pal is still "weedless" since her tongue surgery..but she isn't easy to be around right now, however we were together last night...My Mom hasn't kicked the habit but will not smoke around her friend..
