Loocie - you inspired me to post one of my Mum's poems from her reflective years. It was just 3 years ago that when received her 'recall notice' and continues to be missed greatly.

Through the Mirror of Life

Where is the girl I used to see
Looking back at me?
She’s somewhere in the mists of time
In the days that used to be.


Third born was I with brothers three
With hound dog at our heels
I romped my way through childhood
With joyous girlish squeals

But softly now against my cheek
I feel the brush of time
And I am nothing daunted
Though I am past my prime

We take so much for granted
In the days that form our youth
Life’s portraits that we’ve painted
Are the witnesses of truth

But I remember yesterday
When I was seventeen
I held the future in my hands
And coloured were my dreams

Oh the joys of being young
Sweet agony and pain
What I would not gladly give
To ”suffer” once again

Don't you find you appreciate what your Mother had to say more as you get older.

Does anyone know roughly what time Teenage Head will be on? I would like to go down, but don't really want to hang around for the opening acts.

But...I'm not gone yet. Despite being in Mississauga, it only really takes 15 minutes to get there...
It just takes me a bit to get motivated to get out the door...
