Illinois wants me so I can't go back there, Chicago is out.

Owner's will won't put cat to death

Boots, an 11-year-old cat from Berwyn, Ill has narrowly avoided a death sentence set out in her owner's will. Georgia Lee Dvorak, 76, stipulated that any cats she owned when she died be euthanized. But trust officers appointed to manage Dvorak's estate told a probate court judge they found a shelter to take the cat instead. On Monday, the judge agreed.


Poor animals really are at our mercy if they live a good life or bad, are killed or live............hopefully Boots gets a home and doesn't have to live in the shelter too long. The ideal thing to do , if possible, is find someone who will take your pet BEFORE something happens to you!

morning all now that I got that last post off my back I'll say hi to everyone and hope you all have a happy Easter weekend. Hockey finals tomorrow and then party time afterwards. Should be a good day. Trip is booked but still costs a pretty good amount all said and done since we added our daughter to the venue so we hd to pay taxes on our trip as well as the full shot for our daughter. So overall we get the trip for about half the regular cost which is still good. Hopefully Marlins are running this time of year would love to catch one.

Good you got it booked runt! When are you going to Punta? Just curious how much the taxes are and would you still have had to pay them if it was just you and your wife going? Anyways, something nice to look forward to and enjoy!
