evening Q sters,
HAPPY CATURDAY!
last night was a great show. never heard of Dianne Salvatore before, but she did a great job of singing & performing. she reminded me of a cross between Betty Boop & the women that does the Lenscrafter commericals that pretends to be the librarian, with her mannerisms & the way she moved across the stage, the way she looked over top of her glasses. she did do an excellant job. David Clayton Thomas was amazing. did all the favs & a few lesser done songs. before each song he would tell us about the events that inspired the song. he evened shared with us the story of how he was suppose to go to a concert in Montreal after doing a concert here, but he ended up with congestive heart failure & was rushed to Toronto General. he praised the doctor that saved his life & all the staff at the hospital. he even brought the doctor up front to shake his hand & to thank him. apparently, there were other staff members from the hospital there too. he is a class act & i'm glad i was able to see him. also had some great company with andit, psells, bww & met berndawg for the first time. we all thoroughly enjoyed the show. pictures will follow.

the only problem with that is he wasn't drinking at the time yet. that was stone-cold sober psells. maybe he should have had a few first.

Good evening everyone! I am writing you from beautiful Montreal!
My mom is doing very well and thankfully is in great spirits. Her heart attack was a minor one and barely any damage. She did go through a series of tests and as a result will be undergoing a valve replacement and bypass surgery Tuesday or Thursday and she will be better than she has been in years and if no operation her Dr. Said she would be around another year but it would not be a good one.
She is nerous a bit as she has never had any operation in her almost 85 years.
I am confident she will do great
It has been very stressful for me as I have been alone here.
Was going to drive home for a few days And my husband told me to stay put. He and our daughter are on their way here.
I hope you are all doing well!

glad your mom is doing better & hubby & daughter are on the way. you're not alone, Mmmme. we are all here for you & your mom. sending you & your mom positive thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery.

Thanks for all the B day wishes everyone!!! I had a nice day and night, was hoping to maybe make it to the Sound Academy but it was too late by the time we got home. I have seen David Clayton Thomas a few times as I said and for sure he is a class act but wasn't sure if I was coming or not and didn't actually have a ticket either!!! When psells said to be there by 7:45, I couldn't have been I was at Frankie Tomales eating a Italian Buffet and didn't get home until 10:30... Anyways, thanks again.

all the members in the band are canadian, from different parts of the country. David gave high praise to these 2 trumpet players as well as the only female in the band that played the sax, & flute. this is her doing her solo on the sax.
