from the looks of it, everyone has their own Q bash invitation. i also received my invitation in the email as well as getting some at the SA concert on last Friday. if anyone needs passes, i have extras to share.

one bit of not so good news today came from my manager. he called me tonight to let me know that 1 of my coworkers has been laid off till October. apparently a couple of other people from a couple of other stores received the same news. seems that we are down quite a bit from last year, so they have put some people on lay off till the busy season starts. god i hope that's it. i sure don't want to find out that i'm next. i didn't even get to say good bye to him.

don't you worry Jester, today i got another batch of screws & finished up the panel that need a few more. took the smaller pieces & replace the broken lattice work from the deck to the ground. don't feel like having raccoons or other wild life living under my deck. tomorrow i'll be back to work, having a rest from my housely chores. i did get a lot checked off my to do list, if nothing else major pops up, i should get the rest done on my weekends off, which have been shortened to every other week as opposed to twice every 3 weeks. oh well, what can you do. at least i still have a job for now.
