Good Morning. Glad to see the sun out. Guess the grass will be about 6” long before I get home to cut it. That weekend sucked, mother in law not getting better, my dad getting sick, retaining water and blowing up like a balloon. He had tests last week and going back today. Very worried he is 82. And all that rain and of course the roof leaked and I had to go up and repair the squirrel once damage again. Squirrels are not on my Christmas list.
Psells – great to hear a Loocie poem –
Wolfie – from one who gets back spasms – have a speedy recovery
Ecatt – parking tickets sucks at $100 it sounds worth fighting
Alohamom - glad the party was a success –and congrats to you and Kawam on the new blue hearts

An American 1873 dime has been auctioned off for nearly $2 million in Philadelphia.
The pristine gold coin was purchased Thursday night by a collector who wished to remain anonymous, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
It sold for $1.6 million, plus a 15% buyer's fee.
The rare 1873-CC No Arrows Liberty Seated dime is the only remaining coin from a one-day run of dimes from Carson City, Nev.
A total of 111 pieces were auctioned Thursday at the American Numismatic Association convention for nearly $10 million.
    definitely not chump change

There were snacks and lunch provided... All was well, except for a bit of a food delay when they brought a second roast in. The main event was roast beef on little buns..

But this was was no booze cruise...There was a cash bar, controlled by the boat people...

    RUSH ~ World

Apollo 16 hand-held Hasselblad photograph of North America on Earth. This northeasterly looking view was taken on 16 April 1972 shortly after translunar injection. Mexico and the Baja peninsula can be seen at lower center. Above that much of the Rocky Mountains are visible. Lake Michigan and Lake Superior can be identified towards the top, parts of Central America at lower right and the Bahama Banks at upper right. For scale, the Baja peninsula is about 1200 km long.
