    Bob Iger just announced that The Walt Disney Company is acquiring Lucasfilm – the global entertainment company founded by George Lucas and the home of the legendary Star Wars franchise. In addition to getting the rights to one of the greatest family franchises and epic stories of all time, Disney is also acquiring all of Lucasfilm’s operating businesses – including Industrial Light and Magic and Skywalker Sound.

    This gives Disney infinite inspiration and opportunities to continue the epic Star Wars saga. Fans can expect a new feature film, Star Wars Episode 7, in theaters worldwide in 2015. George Lucas will serve as creative consultant on the film...

    I mentioned a while ago there is a guy who sits out on the street down here with his dog all day long and never takes him down to the beach which is 5 minutes away, just makes him sit all day like thathe's still out there everyday. Now there's another bum with a dog. Today they were sitting out there in the rain, the poor dog wanted to get up (probably sick to death of sitting all day, while his owner bums money!!!) the guy yelled at him to sit down and pushed him down, the dog gave a bark before that and he grabbed him roughly and told him to shut up - the dog cried, this one is a german sheppard!!! I tell you if I knew I could handle the guy I would have given him something to teach him a lesson about caring for an animal!!!! Wish there was something I could do to help the poor thing out. It's not fair, the dog can't do anything when he's held down with a leash around his neck etc.

    Damn these people if they are going to make their dogs sit like that all day - at least give the poor thing some time out and a little fun in the park - which is steps away - I hate to think it but I'm pretty sure this one just has the dog to help him get money............when I was walking on Queen West last week it seemed every bum on the street had a dog or two lying beside him..............

    Happy Halloween Q'Bees!

    I hope everyone is weathering the storm alright!
    I am thankful I do not live in the US and or visiting anyone who does especially
    along the east coast, NYC , etc.

    A couple of days ago I received a survey from Q.. all about the Kim Mitchel show.
    Did everyone else get one?
    I am thinking that he must have had some complaints.... however who knows...
    We were to head back to Montreal this coming weekend, however things changed quickly
    when my husband's aunt died. She was 74. She was sick and they had no idea what it was for
    1 month. They kept her in the hospital and 3 weeks ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer.
    Yes she had been a smoker for many years and stopped within the last 5 years.

    At work I am very busy, and sudden;y last week my boss changed my job back to what I was
    doing 5 years ago. I work with the customer base. It is great that they all remember me... be nice kids..

    1 week from tomorrow is my daughter's birthday. She will be 18
    I am not sure where the time went.

    Every year on her birthday I have taken her for her portrait.
    Next week.. may be the last time especially if she goes away to school next year.
    Time will tell.
