Morning Q-sters,

Don't ask me why I'm up I just am, someone already asked me this. Got's some stuffs to do in a bit, after places open up lol. Apparently some furballs, won't mention names but they've four legs and PURR, ran outta food. And also gonna head to the library, although looks like it won't be the one in town since the other one seems to be hogging all the bloody books even though the one here chopped down trees just to become bigger and looks like a walmart after boxing day. Honestly, either share the multiple books on the subject so one library doesn't have 11 while the other has 1 or get multiple copies, it's not a hard concept to grasp. Also debating on topping up the boat, its predicting going up after tomorrow possibly. It's cheaper not to work than to work, I don't have that many arms and legs. It always does this after I start working; screw savings, all my savings goes into gas blimey.

Super Bowl Trip Goes to Pot

A decades old pot possession charge cost a Victoria man the trip of a lifetime.

Myles Wilkinson beat nearly four million contestants to win a trip to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, but his victory went up in smoke when Toronto airport border guards blocked him from crossing this week due to a 32-year-old charge for less than two grams of cannabis. At the time, a teenaged Wilkinson paid a $50 fine.

This is an "all too common" story, said Dana Larsen, director of the Sensible B.C. campaign to hold a referendum on decriminalizing cannabis.

"Any kind of possession conviction means a lifetime ban on crossing the U.S. border" Larsen said, adding that someone charged but not convicted can still be refused entry to the States.

Wilkinson plans to join the Sensible B.C. campaign.
