I think the guy that won is the only guy who even thought of it (actually he said his buddy knew it). This is a stupid contest! It only great for the person that wins (however, it would have been really great if I won the $6600). But it is hard enough trying to figure out what normal CLASSIC rock song it was, let alone a Cat Stevens song??. When was the last time you even heard a Cat Stevens song on the radio? I think this contest is a very frustrating contest for people who actually do listen to the mighty Q.

if & when i hear a Cat Stevens song, it's usually on Psych Psunday with Andy Frost. he liokes to play songs that i hear once in a blue moon.

Okay so, when I'd found the cheque it was from a church here in town to a snow removal company also here in town. I'd called the church first but got no answer and their voicemail said they wouldn't be back in the office until tomorrow. So when I got home, I located the snow removal companies number and called them and delivered it to them. However, the church admin just called to thank me and explained that she'd had it in her purse but had obviously dropped it so I told her that I had delivered it to the snow removal people since I'd been able to find them. She sounded relived since the cheque was made out to a numbered company, and didn't have an actual name on it, anyone could've cashed it.

....you'd think the good karma would come back as no snow....

Mum, if I wasn't yours and dad's kid, we could've been 700$ richer but I'm sorry I found who owned the cheque I found in the Sobeys parking lot. Although there was no pie (), I got us some cupcakes.

i'm glad that you found the owner & returned the money to them. they were probably tearing their hair out looking for it, i know i would be. for that you may an extra cupcake for dessert.
