Andi, you take care & there's nothing wrong with being spoiled rotten for a couple of weeks. This prose is a re-post of how I feel about about Smart Canucks.....Can you imagine the graph we'd make if we were all analyzed?




I was thinking just the other day just what defines a Smart Canuck,
Are we a bunch of goofballs who like to run amuck?
We celebrate; we chat & chalk up milestones,
We’re sopranos & we’re tenors & even baritones,
We talk about sports & sometimes movie flicks,
& sometimes we will groan when we post giant pix,
We’re Moms, we’re Dads, and we’re daughters & sons,
We’re word-twisters, we’re snowbees & we like to make puns,
We’re animal lovers & cooks, who have great imaginations,
& all of us are withstanding when it comes to temptations,
Some of us have been married for a very long, long time,
& some of us still have what it takes to keep us in our prime,
There are single parents who give their all cause they always seem so busy,
& some of us need to slow down, or we’ll wind up in a tizzy,
We all have great taste in music & of course in fine cuisine,
& all of us know the hard way, that life can be so unforeseen,
We’ve grieved, we’ve wished, we’ve vented & ranted,
& sometimes we’ve thought others, have views that are quite slanted,
Some of us can even put a Smart Canuck face to a name,
Cause we’ve all seen the group shots that belong in a frame,
We all hope that absent friends come back & at least say hello,
Now continue on with posting, & please look out below!!

Just back from my Metabolic Exercise Test, aka Stress Test.

Happy to report I was able to complete it with no long lasting ill effects, didn't even need the Nitroglycerin this time!
Legs will be sore tomorrow I am sure.
Next week I start the rehab, exercising with the oldies!

I was up early today, for a change and after I started going through the thread I remembered that today is a special one for me for a number of reasons: 2 and 1/2 years ago to the day I became a non-smoker and have been able to stay clean ever since; this was also the day 3 years ago when I got the call from Derringer and won the Chevy Cruze - I had only been a "lurker" on the site before and promptly joined to acknowledge smartcanucks for their help in posting answers for the prize. I was made most welcome right from the start and have felt at home ever since. Its good to feel the friendship and enjoy others' input on this thread - much more than a social site; more of a cyber family and friends. I also enjoy having forum to share my sometimes bizarre humour - my wife appreciates the break! To top it off I see a new blue heart landed for me today - so maybe I should go dancing in the street too. Thanx all for your friendship and social intercourse. Love you guys. (did he just say what I think he said?)
