Wow - we do talk a lot, and isn't it great that we like each other enough to share.

Can't remember if I posted this before.
Can't actually remember what I had for breakfast.
I did have breakfast, didn't I?

I was thinking just the other day just what defines a Smart Canuck,
Are we a bunch of goofballs who like to run amuck?
We celebrate; we chat & chalk up milestones,
We’re sopranos & we’re tenors & even baritones,
We talk about sports & sometimes movie flicks,
& sometimes we will groan when we post giant pix,
We’re Moms, we’re Dads, and we’re daughters & sons,
We’re word-twisters, we’re snowbees & we like to make puns,
We’re animal lovers & cooks, who have great imaginations,
& all of us are withstanding when it comes to temptations,
Some of us have been married for a very long, long time,
& some of us still have what it takes to keep us in our prime,
There are single parents who give their all cause they always seem so busy,
& some of us need to slow down, or we’ll wind up in a tizzy,
We all have great taste in music & of course in fine cuisine,
& all of us know the hard way, that life can be so unforeseen,
We’ve grieved, we’ve wished, we’ve vented & ranted,
& sometimes we’ve thought others, have views that are quite slanted,
Some of us can even put a Smart Canuck face to a name,
Cause we’ve all seen the group shots that belong in a frame,
We all hope that absent friends come back & at least say hello,
Now continue on with posting, & please look out below!!

A pleasant first time meeting of a few of us, for an afternoon lunch & conversation,
We're hoping next time that more can join us & add to the rotation,
Even though Mechman had liver & onions, it was a fabulous get acquainted party,
& Wolfie had a bacon wish granted & the bacon made his burger so yumm-ily,
22Hicks picked me up & gave me chauffeur service door to door,
She is one of the lovely Smart Canucks who puts the "R" in rapport,
Our loyal poster Evelyn, our resident animal lover & extraordinaire volunteer,
Took a little time to relax with us & raised he glass to cheer,
AlohaMom came from far away just to shake hands with the likes of our little club,
Thank you for the pleasure of your company & sharing in a bit of grub,
Jester, dear sweet Jester when it comes to people who are warm & giving,
You're a person with a vibrant spirit & you share the joy of living,
Thank you to all for an afternoon that for me was so therapeutic beyond measure,
It's good to be able to feel safe & warm & schmaltz it up at leisure,
The Magnificent Seven has room for more friends to join our table,
I hope that we can gather again soon & may everyone be able.

There still seems to be many trees & branches that need to be cleaned up. Here's an idea what you can do if you have a tree that can be recycled. I'm always amazed at how creative & practical some people out there can be. I like this idea!
