Good Morning! Does anyone have special plans for Canada Day? I'm planning a BBQ complete with good company & sparklers. No doubt there will be lots to do around town. My poor old dog does not care for the revelry of booming celebrations. I know she will be hiding upstairs in the closet in the spare room that will one day be converted to nice comfy little den. We are all blessed with the fortune of living here....we've got it pretty darn good when you look around.
I hope everyone has a terrific day & I also hope that everyone has Canada Day off so you can be with friends & family.

Good afternoon, everyone.
Anyone else feel like sleeping the day away? I can't wait til hot sunny summer weather arrives in my neighbourhood. Had enough of the rain, blech.
Have to run out quickly to the bank and the LCBO (both for wine & the Food & Drink mag ), then have to bake some Canada Day cookies for the neighbour dogs.
Off to my Mom's again later tonight (or early tomorrow), then going to spend some time out of town with bff's family for Canada Day (well, July 2 ). I'm looking forward to seeing everyone but I'm also looking forward to next week, when all my vacations are over & I can get back into my routine and get things done around here. Eek! I think I'm turning into a grown-up - I'm looking forward to housework.
Hope everyone has an amazing Canada Day!

Sometimes routine is the best thing to count on. Have fun at your Mom's AndiT. I dare not tell Maggie that you make Canada Day bones for the neighbourhood dogs......she will feel she also deserves some treats. I used to make bones all the time. You have reminded me that it is fairly simple. Also, we celebrate Maggie's birthday on Canada Day (her actual date of birth is not certain. It`s either the 1`st, 2`nd, 3`rd or 4th of July). She is an elderly old lady now as she is turning 10 years old. She can be a total pain sometimes, but she is loyal & pretty good company.
I am enjoying my week off from treatment. I breath a sigh of relief when I don`t have to take any drugs. Hooray! My how cancer sucks!
Signed,
SillyLoocie - still keeping the faith most of the time.
